The MCP server lets your AI assistant read your ZeroRank data. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. Once it is connected, you can ask Claude or Cursor about your brands, prompts, and rankings in plain chat. No copy and paste.
A prompt is a question we ask AI engines for you. Your assistant can now look those up for you too.
Think of MCP as a doorway that lets your AI assistant read your ZeroRank data.

Who can use it

Every paid plan includes the MCP server. That means Starter, Pro, Enterprise, and AppSumo plans. Your subscription just needs to be active or in your free trial.
The free tier cannot connect. You need a paid plan or an active trial. Without one, the connection is refused.

What your assistant can see

Access is read-only. Your assistant can look at your data, but it can never change it.
The connection only sees the one workspace you pick. It cannot read your other workspaces.
Your assistant can read:
  • Your workspace info
  • Your brands
  • Your prompts
  • Your tags and topics
It can also look things up for you:
  • Details of a single prompt or brand
  • Lists of your prompts
  • Your recent chats (the answers AI engines gave back)
  • The websites and pages cited most often
  • Your brand rankings over time, going back up to 90 days

Connect your AI assistant

Add the ZeroRank MCP server

Open your AI client and add the ZeroRank MCP server. This works in Claude, Cursor, and other apps that support MCP.

Your client opens a sign-in page

Your client sends you to a ZeroRank sign-in page in your browser.

Sign in and pick a workspace

Sign in to ZeroRank. Then choose which workspace you want to share.

Approve the access

The screen says the client can Read your prompts, brands, and tags, Read your content documents, and Search your workspace data. Click Approve.

You are connected

That is it. Access lasts about 30 days. After that, you approve again.

Good to know

  • Read-only. It can never change your data.
  • One workspace per connection. Pick a different workspace by connecting again.
  • Up to 120 requests per minute. Plenty for normal questions.

Questions to ask

Once connected, try asking your assistant things like:
  • “What were my brand rankings last month?”
  • “Which websites get cited most for my prompts?”
  • “Show my active prompts about pricing.”

Troubleshooting

You need a paid plan or an active trial. The free tier cannot connect. Check your plan on the billing page.
Access lasts about 30 days. When it runs out, just connect again and approve. This refreshes your access.
