Each answer we get back is called a chat. A chat is the answer an AI engine gave back. We read every chat and pull out what matters.

We turn all those answers into clear numbers and charts. You watch them go up or down over time, with no spreadsheets to build.

What we measure in each answer

Every time we read a chat, we check four things about your brand.
  • Mentions — did the answer name your brand at all?
  • Rank — if your brand showed up, was it near the top or near the bottom of the answer?
  • Sentiment — did the AI talk about you in a good, okay, or bad way?
  • Citations — which websites did the AI point to as its sources? A citation is a website the AI pointed to as its source.
We save every answer, so you can read the full chats yourself any time on Recent chats.
On Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans, your prompts run every day. On AppSumo lifetime plans, your prompts run once a week instead.

A quick example

Say you run a bakery, and you want to win new cake orders.
  1. You add a prompt like “best birthday cakes near me.”
  2. Every day, ZeroRank asks that question across all 7 AI engines.
  3. We read each answer and check: did it name your bakery? How early did your name appear? Did it sound positive? Which websites did it cite?
  4. Over a week, you can see if your bakery shows up more often, and which rival bakeries keep beating you.
