The three tabs
- Brand Kit
- Audience segments
- Knowledge base
This tab holds the words that make your brand yours. It is split into five parts.
Brand identity
Brand identity
The basics about your brand and who you sell to.
- Name — what your brand is called.
- URL — your website address.
- About the brand — what you do, in a few sentences.
- About your ideal customer — who you most want to reach.
- Competitors — the other brands you race against.
- Brand point of view — what you believe and stand for.
Voice and tone
Voice and tone
How your brand sounds when it talks.
- Author persona — who is “speaking” in your writing. A friendly guide? A sharp expert?
- Tone of voice — the mood of your words. Warm, bold, calm, playful.
Writing style
Writing style
The small rules that keep your writing tidy.
- Writing rules — things to always do or never do. For example, “keep sentences short” or “no slang.”
- Header case style — how you write headings. Sentence case (“How it works”) or Title Case (“How It Works”).
Calls to action
Calls to action
The nudge at the end that tells readers what to do next.
- CTA text — the words on the button or link. A call to action (CTA) is the “do this next” message.
- CTA destination — where that link sends people.
Writing sample
Writing sample
A real piece of your own writing for ZeroRank to copy.
- Sample title — the headline of the piece.
- URL — where it lives, if it is online.
- Outline — the main points it covers.
- Body — the actual text.
Where the Brand Kit gets used
