A workflow is a set of steps that runs a task for you. You can build one from scratch, but you do not have to. ZeroRank gives you ready-made workflows called templates. Each template is a recipe you can copy and use right away. This page shows the templates, how to use one, and how to set a workflow to run on a timer.

The three built-in templates

ZeroRank ships with three templates. Each one helps you write content that AI engines can find and quote. That work is called AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).

AEO Content Optimizer

Use a template

Templates are a starting point. You copy one, change the parts you want, then run it.
1

Pick a template

Open the templates list and choose the one that fits your task.
2

Let it copy into your workspace

ZeroRank makes your own copy of the template. The original stays unchanged, so you can copy it again later.
3

Adjust it

Change the steps, wording, or settings to fit your brand and topic.
4

Run it

Start the workflow and watch it work through each step.

Run a workflow on a schedule

You do not have to start a workflow by hand each time. You can give it a schedule so it runs on a repeat timer. For example, you can set a workflow to run once a week. ZeroRank then runs it for you on that day, every week, with no clicks from you. This is handy for work you want done again and again, like checking the same content for fresh AEO improvements.

Versions let you look back

Every time you publish a change to a workflow, ZeroRank saves a version. A version is a snapshot of the workflow at that moment. Because each published change makes a new version, you can look back at older ones. If a change did not work out, you have a record of how the workflow used to be. ZeroRank also keeps an execution history. That is the record of each time the workflow ran, so you can see past runs.
Workflows are shared with your workspace team. When you build or change one, your teammates see it too. Everyone in your workspace works from the same set of workflows.
